Hi, Everyone!
Well, my second Halloween has come & gone. Darn, because I was really into all the spooky decor. But that’s okay. There are still plenty of pumpkins to perch on and wet leaves to snuffle. Besides, did you see?! Home Depot has already switched out the Halloween stuff for Christmas stuff. Yikes, that was quick! PADS must have sent a memo saying: Keep those distractions coming!
O, Class Party extraordinaire! You had to see it to believe it! Our Instructor, Chelsea, prepared the most spectacular, bewitching backdrops and training activities! Of course, we all wore costumes and pranced about, looking magnificent. I was a Pirate. We had a BLAST!
Special October Mission: I supervised my Raisers’ vaccinations this month. No surprises there, since I aced the routine last year, when I was only 3 months old. The big difference, now, is that I’m much bigger and had to maneuver more deftly in the little cubicle. No problem.
Super October Training Partners: High School Students! So, I hung out with teenagers a lot this past month – in hallways, rec rooms, food courts… all the cool places. Teens travel in happy packs, are full of surprises, and have the best vibe ever! Following in their wake is great for building composure. Thank you, Kindred Spirits! See you again next week!
Supporting Fall Fitness: Shout Out to Community Centres! This month, I supervised ping pong, billiards, indoor soccer, and aerobics. I’m sure I could do a terrific grapevine (if only they’d let me.) Never mind. I’ll just settle nicely over here and marvel at your crazy stunts to blaring music.
Resisting Cool Stuff on Low Tables: Pizza, giant toy spiders, Porridge Bear, stinky cheese… Sadly, “what’s mine is mine, and what’s yours is mine, too” is not a PADS adage. Hey, what’s up with that? I happily share all my stuff with you whenever you ask!
World Cup Prep: My Special PADS Friend Benita & I aren’t wasting any time! At our last little session, she brought out her fuzzy soccer ball (that matches me exactly, ha), and we kicked our World Cup spirit into high gear by using it to practice “chin” and “target.”
Thank you so much for checking in on me! My November calendar is already filling up, so there will be a lot to tell you about next time. Until then, spend quality time with vibe-y teenagers. We are the future!
