I left the nest and came to my Foster parents at 9 weeks on October 17. I say foster because they are helping to raise me until a permanent raiser is found. I settled in nicely, but it took about 2 days. There is another PADS dog at the house named Lumina. We play together a lot, but sometimes she gets tired of me, and I have to be in my pen. Yes, I have a nice area penned off so that I don’t run around the whole house.

My foster parents keep me busy and do lots of training with me. Every day I do some. I even got to go to a puppy class. That was so fun, and I saw a couple of my siblings there as well as some bigger dogs. I got to do a lot of cool stuff while I was there.

I’m now sleeping through the night, which really helps my fosters. I got to see what Halloween was about with all those kids dressed up. It was so cool to see all those costumes. I even heard a lot of fireworks, especially when I went outside. Those did not bother me. Actually, neither did the rain. It did at first, but now I don’t mind being in the rain.

I like to sit under the tree and watch everyone or cars go by. Even the garbage truck. At first, I jumped when I heard it, but then I was ok. I’m really getting used to a lot of the noises around here.

Also, in the 2 weeks I have been here, I’ve gotten a bit bigger and heavier. I’m enjoying myself and having fun here.
