Good morning, world! My name is Tank!
This is my very first pupdate as I have just come to my puppy raiser’s house. I am 3.5 months old with large paws, so I am going to fit my name really well.
For it being my first month, I have done a lot of things. It started off with my plane ride from Vancouver to Calgary. I was about 10-11 weeks old when I took that ride. My handler was wonderful to me, and I did a great job, until I had to walk through the airport. I decided at one point to stop, and there was no moving me! The handler had to pick me up and carry me the rest of the way. I still don’t like to go for walks; I like to sniff my way around and get to know my area. We haven’t really gone on any big walks, but rather play in the backyard when I get the zoomies and run like something is biting my tail.
I sleep really well through the night and have since I came here. Sometimes, I must wake mom up with a whine, as I do have a small bladder, but I can sleep almost 8-10 hours most nights. I still get my naps during the day. Often, I will sleep directly behind mom, but sometimes I take myself off to a cozy spot about 15 feet away in a play area.
Mom has said she’s very pleased with me. I have attended meetings, her work, and even an art class with her. She puts down a blanket, and I fall fast asleep, snoring like there is not a care in the world. Everyone can hear me when I am snoring, and I hear them giggle because it is so cute.
I came to my mom’s house knowing how to do short stairs, but my mom still likes to carry me up and down. Mind you, I am getting heavier now, and she might have to let me do it on my own. Mom has me working on some exercises while she feeds me. I have to sit on my butt, jump to a stand, and lie on my belly. I really like playing these games as I get food after the actions.
I have 3 cats who also live with me. I try really hard to get them to play with me, but I get a yowl and sometimes a smack for my trouble. Then, mom comes and leads me away. I will get them to love me before long.
Well, it’s time for my nap. Until next time.
