MEET TEAM NOVA III
Hearing dog Nova is changing her partner’s life in more ways than one.
Hearing dogs are truly incredible. They alert to fire alarms, morning alarms, timers, name calls, dropped items, phones, doorbells, and knocks at the door, but their impact goes far beyond these specific tasks.
Everything Nova does has a ripple effect on my daily life. Because of her, I no longer have to constantly look over my shoulder. I can sleep peacefully knowing she’ll wake me if there’s an alarm in the night. Even the general public tends to be more patient and understanding when Nova is by my side.
Nova is the perfect mix of sassy, sweet, and silly. She loves her work whether she’s wearing her vest or alerting me to sounds at home. She’s an amazing PADS representative always showing both how focused and how happy she is.
Of course, none of this would be possible without the incredible PADS community. Nova’s sitters, raisers, and especially her talented trainer all helped shape her into the amazing hearing dog she is today!
