I have been with my mom for just over three weeks, and I think I like it here! I have a dog sister and a cat brother. I am sometimes a bit overexuberant with my love for them, but I am learning when they tell me that they have had enough. I have lots of toys; my favourites right now are a bone that is round, and ‘roll-y’, and a stuffed squirrel.
I am super smart and pick things up quickly. I LOVE to work because it means snacks! I am doing very well with toilet training. I still sometimes have accidents in the evening when I am tired, but mom is learning to read my cues (mom is learning just as much as I am!).
I am excellent in the car. Whether in a crate or in the footwell, I settle immediately and mostly go to sleep. This month, I have been on short outings to the mall and the grocery store, and some longer outings to the gym, two restaurants, and a car dealership. I am getting pretty good at settling at mom’s feet when we are out. I went to the park and saw ducks. They weren’t afraid of me at all, and I was a good boy, and watched them quietly.
I go to work with my mom every day and make everyone in the office smile. I settle nicely under or beside her desk and make everyone laugh when I snore during nap time.
I also had an outing to the “Lights at Lafarge”. It was VERY busy. I only got to see a few of the lights because mom didn’t want me to be overwhelmed.
