My bags are packed, and I’m off to the sitters for a big adventure while my raisers are off on a well-deserved vacation! I had loads of fun with my new bestie, Mirabel. She didn’t mind that I was wearing my fancy pants and stayed on leash; we still had so much fun, great walks, and lots of snuggles.
A big milestone this month was my GDBarts. I thought it was just a lot of fun, hanging out with trainers and going through different experiences, but it’s actually a very important part of my training and the beginning of the lead-up to turn-in. They said I did great, but I was just myself and had a great time playing with my friends after, and snuggling with my buddy in the car on the way home. We were tired!
Christmas decorations are up already in the mall, and with all the busy shoppers and noise, my raiser likes to use this as a good chance to practice my duration downs. There are so many distractions, and people are always stopping to watch us, but my raiser says I’m getting very good at my durations!
But with all the hard work at class and mall walks, and training, I’m still getting lots of time for muddy wet trail walks and practicing my off-leash skills and having lots of fun with my friends!
