Brandy had a very busy month in November. First up, she spent time with a puppy sitter who took her all sorts of places, including a fireball, police station, the Remembrance Day Field of Crosses, a retirement home, and more.
She also flew to Toronto and then took a Lyft to Niagara Falls for the APCO conference (for the people who answer and dispatch 9-1-1 calls). There are so many opportunities to « go say hi,» and she was adored by so many people. She settled nicely listening to keynotes, at the booth, and with someone else when her raiser was presenting. She did well at the restaurants and coffee shops, too. It was a busy week, but she rocked it.
She also got to appreciate snow again after a large snowfall. She wasn’t quite as impressed when it was cold, and she had to walk in it, though. She will get used to that, or perhaps Santa will bring her some booties. Or a bit of both.
She’s been doing really well going in and out of buildings and vehicles, as her raiser does a bit of adjustment on the cues for those.
She is such a joy and a quick study. We keep working on different cues and finding new experiences. Bring on the holidays!
