We’re currently seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join us as a Manager of Corporate Partnerships (BC), helping us fulfill our mission of providing assistance dogs to our waiting clients.

PADS breeds, raises and trains fully certified assistance dogs. Our service (mobility & PTSD) and hearing dogs provide life-changing independence to those with disabilities other than blindness. Our accredited facility dogs work with community professionals, such as teachers, RCMP and psychologists to help support wellness in our community.
We’re proud of the fact that we were the first fully accredited member of Assistance Dogs International in Canada.
ABOUT THE POSITION
The Corporate Partnerships Manager plays a critical role in driving revenue and strategic growth through corporate engagement. This position is responsible for developing, managing, and growing partnerships with businesses that align with the organization’s mission and values. Reporting to the Director of Fundraising & Communications, the Corporate Partnerships Manager will lead efforts to secure sponsorships, cause-marketing initiatives, and employee engagement programs that deliver mutual value for partners and the organization.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic relationship-builder with strong negotiation skills and a proven ability to create win-win partnerships. They will be adept at identifying opportunities, crafting compelling proposals, and stewarding long-term relationships that contribute to sustainable funding and brand visibility.
Major Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a corporate partnership strategy aligned with organizational goals
- Identify, cultivate, and secure new corporate partners through research, networking, and outreach
- Manage and grow existing partnerships, ensuring fulfillment of agreements and delivering exceptional stewardship
- Create customized proposals and presentations for prospective partners
- Collaborate with Marketing & Communications to develop co-branded campaigns and promotional materials
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- 3+ years in a similar role with demonstrated success in corporate fundraising
- Relevant post-secondary education in business, marketing, communications or related field
Technical Qualifications
- 5+ years in corporate partnerships, sponsorship sales, or business development
- Proven track record in securing and managing corporate relationships
- Proficient with MS 365 and CRM systems (Salesforce considered an asset)
- Strong proposal writing and presentation skills
- Experience in contract negotiation and budget management
- Valid driver’s license; access to a vehicle considered an asset

WORKING CONDITIONS & COMPENSATION
Location: Burnaby, BC
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Arrangement: Based at our Burnaby Campus in a standard office setting, hybrid work a possibility.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
Compensation: $55,000 – $65,000 annually as a starting salary based on a 37.5-hour work week. A benefits package is available after the 3-month probation period.
