Bowden has been working hard on some public access scenarios this month, so he can better generalize his learning for when he is out in public. On top of tricky tasks like doing “go in” on food, Bowden has been fine-tuning his PTSD service dog skills – he is a swift learner and shows that he is happy to ‘work’ for anyone who has provided him with food.
Bowden also got two weeks off for the holiday season to relax and rest before we start training again for the 2026 season!
• Skills being learned: Alerting, Front and Post, Middle
• Recent field trips: Homes Alive Pets, Marshals
• Possible behavior challenges: Spatial Sensitivity
• Advanced training location: Calgary, AB
• Potential career path: PTSD Service Dog
Thank you for your support of Advanced Dog Bowden. It is greatly appreciated!
