Hey everyone, it’s me again!!

January was approximately 47 years long, but I made it through and so did my raiser. We’ve been very busy this month—even with me spending a whole week at a sitter’s (10/10, would visit again).

My raiser has taken me on lots of outings, and we’ve added some brand-new training spots. My favourite so far—besides the hockey rink, obviously—is Home Depot! So many smells. So many carts. So many chances to practice being a Very Good Boy. Plus, the staff gets just as excited to see me as I am to see them.

I’ve officially become a master of the “settle,” with and without food (yes, I am accepting applause). My raiser makes me practice this everywhere we go, so now I can relax on cue like a true professional napper.

I’ve also been working hard on my distractions—mainly birds and other dogs, who insist on existing in public. Instead of losing my mind, I now notice them, then check back in with my raiser like, “Did you see that?? …Okay, cool.” Big progress. Huge maturity.

My kennel is now one of my favourite places to hang out and take a nap. If my sitters or raisers can’t find me, they check there first—and I’m usually snoring like I just worked a double shift.

Those are just a few highlights from this month! Rumour has it I might be moving up with the older dogs in puppy class soon… very exciting, very grown-up! How do you think I will do??

I’ll tell you all about it next month!
