Cynder has had a wonderful start to the year. She had a great trip to the Gulf Islands and was amazing on the ferry, settling quickly during the trip. She loves the ocean and jumped in several times. She enjoyed amazing trail walks with lots of great sniffing and lots of ducks and geese to watch. We also had a staring contest with a seal who was very curious about Cynder wanting to go in the water and play. She has learned so much during her puppy training and is amazing with her cues and appropriate house manners. She is a great companion shopper at the grocery store and the mall. She was amazing when a person with a care aid started screaming when she saw Cynder, and Cynder did not react at all, just kept walking. Although we are still working on not getting overexcited when meeting new people and pulling to get to other dogs in close range, she will be an amazing companion to anyone.
