Angel’s Monthly Pup Date 🐾
What a month it’s been! The first few weeks were an adjustment as we learned schedules and survived on less than six hours of sleep😅, but we are happily past that stage, and Angel is now sleeping 8+ hours through the night like a pro.
She’s settling beautifully into farm life, getting to know the horses from a respectful distance and attempting friendship with our two cats… who are still cautiously evaluating her enthusiastic puppy energy.
We’ve had two fun playdates with Jo, a PADS volunteer sitter, and Queenie, a court support dog she was caring for. Angel had a blast racing around Jo’s large fenced yard, launching herself off any surface that offered a little extra air. We’re grateful that Jo lives nearby so she will have lots of visits in the future!
Last week we also had a field trip with trainer Krista, and successfully spent an hour mostly settled at Tim Hortons. Big milestone!
So proud of this girl and how much she’s growing already 🖤
