Good day world, Tank reporting in,

The first part of February was wonderful, very much like spring. I was able to go outside daily to have a sniffy walk, work on my dog-to-dog interactions, find all the wonderful smells that spring has to offer. Unfortunately, that didn’t last, and winter returned with a vengeance. Higher-than-normal snowfalls make wearing booties impractical. The snow is higher than the boots, so snow can get in, plus the temperatures were mostly below -15C.

So that meant lots of indoor time. We go grocery shopping, to libraries, and to the gym. Mom says I am an excellent boy when I am out in uniform. Except for the occasional sniff on the floor of the grocery store, I behave very well.

When I am home, I like to entice the cats to play with me. One of them likes to play fight, and I enjoy that a lot, but mom usually breaks us apart. Since I am bigger now and can reach the counters, I have been trying a new game. I like to get stuff off of the counters, sometimes it’s to eat, other times its to get mom to chase me. All the time, it ends with me being tethered to my bed…… maybe I need to rethink this game?

To help keep me from being bored, mom pulls out the snuffle mat full of food, at other times it’s the ball, which has ribbons of food wrapped in it. She also purchased a food trap game that I need to figure out how to open the compartments to get the food. I like just picking it up and dropping it to get the food. Other times, we work on getting my nails trimmed, getting my coat brushed, and brushing my teeth. I haven’t really gotten used to getting my teeth brushed.
So now we are one step closer to spring.

Until next month, Tank out.
