February was all about love, and I definitely felt it while enjoying some bonus time with my raisers! And wow, did we ever make the most of it.
One of my humans had a busy month at work, which meant I got to tag along for some exciting new experiences. I visited a recording studio and even spent three days on the set of a commercial. I loved watching all the action, quietly snoozing during takes, and visiting with the crew. I was a big hit and was told I helped ease stress and bring lots of smiles — job well done, if I do say so myself!
I was also featured in an article at my human’s workplace alongside my guide dog colleague, Hobson. Together, we helped educate others about guide and service dogs and spread awareness about the important role we play in fostering inclusive, diverse workplaces. My human was so proud of me for being an advocate for PADS pups on the job. I even showed off my exemplary behaviour during a three-hour meeting with a large group of colleagues — including some very important bosses! I must have impressed them, because the next day I received my very own employee badge. I feel very official now! I’m just wondering… does it come with a kibble raise?
Another highlight was spending Valentine’s weekend with my little buddy Mazel, who visited me back in December. He’s grown so much, and we had an absolute blast together. We enjoyed off-leash walks, and I taught him how to sprint back to the humans at top speed for kibble. We visited a café and a brewery and even had a cozy snooze together.
I kept up my weekend walks with my best buddy Drax, too. We also practiced our skills at the mall and a pet store as I prepared for my PAT — which, by the way, I aced!
