February, also known as the month of love. I spent it loving many things, including sunshine, snacks, and myself.
We had some beautiful sunny days, which I have now learned is called false spring. False or not, I fully embraced it. More sunshine meant more time outside, more sniffing, and more opportunities for me to be admired in natural lighting.
The highlight of my month was a very cool field trip to Starbucks with the cutest classmates (Hello Spirit). I would just like to say I handled myself with extreme professionalism, because all I wanted to do was kiss everyone. I did not. You’re welcome.
Another major event was having my nephew Hudson over for the weekend. At first, I was slightly concerned. Why was there another dog in my house that looked exactly like me, just smaller, and why was he playing with my toys? Once I processed this, I realized he was actually quite fun. I adjusted my play style to be a responsible aunt, which, conveniently, earned me more kibbles for my good behaviour. A system I fully support.
I will admit, I did miss him when he left. I checked a few of his usual spots just to be sure he hadn’t turned invisible.
I wrapped up the month with a frolic on the beach, which felt very on brand for me, and then finally… my GDBART. Who would’ve thought the time would come so fast.. not my raisers.
Looking forward to whatever March has in store for me. Hopefully more sun, more snacks, and more friends.
