February brought some change for Bowden as he transitioned from the PTSD Service Dog stream into training as an Accredited Facility Dog (AFD). During this time, we also noted some sensitivity around tighter spaces and certain surfaces, which helped guide the decision toward a career path that better suits him. Bowden’s calm demeanour and genuine love for people make him a wonderful candidate for facility work, and we’re excited to see him continue developing in this new role.

Skills being learned: Deployment body target, chin to leg, cooperative grooming
Recent field trips: South Center Mall
Possible behaviour challenges: Spatial Sensitivity
Advanced training location: Calgary, AB
Potential career path: Accredited Facility Dog

Thank you for your support of Advanced Dog Bowden. It is greatly appreciated!
