March is my birth month! I turned one year old on Mar 9th. I had my birthday celebration with my family. I tried to pop several balloons, but they are tied up high. I am sad that I cannot reach them. Instead, I found cookies are more interesting and yummy. I need to wait for my “YES” to eat them. Wow, I am surprised that I can wait that long. I think it is 30 seconds. On my Wishlist, the waiting game should not be on my birthday. The happiest thing is that I got lots of gifts. Thank You!

Everyone is very proud of me that I can stay in the kennel calmly during the day and at night. I enjoy my nap there. The house is quiet, and I am quiet.

I love my walks. On the trail in the neighbourhood, I love to explore, say hi to people and dog friends, play, and sniff around. I walk in rain or shine, a minimum of 2 hours a day. People love me. They always pet me and say: “What a good-looking guy! So calm. Grant, you are so sweet! You are friendly. Wow, you are just a cute puppy. ” I never jump up on them. I went over to say hi and come back to my family when I heard YES.

I love to research my food puzzles. They give me a lot of brainwork. But I am confident, and I can figure out all of them without frustration. When I work on these games, I am not distracted by any other activities– like my family mealtime, my mom talking on the phone, or short visits from guests. I can focus on my task.

I understand that my family needs to do chores and work. I had better be mature and independent when they cook, do some office work, vacuum/mop, and do laundry. I learned to be on the mat or in the kennel quietly. My people love me more when I give them space. Sometimes, I chew my bones. Sometimes, I just nap.

I did fantastically this month. I had playdates with PADS Goji, Bentley, and other boys. It was so much fun.
