Jonsie has had a big change this month. Jonsie has transitioned to our home, and while the first few days were an adjustment for everyone, he seems to have now settled into his new routine. With spring break and an Easter break, he has been surrounded by a number of PADS puppies (both current and former) and so has really had to manage his manners with some of the older dogs.

He has some amazing fundamentals; it’s clear that Isy and Chris worked hard to give him a solid foundation. We have been working this month on Perch, Bed and his loose leash walking. He is a big but very friendly dog who is always wagging that big tail (or the “weapon of mass destruction” as we call it).

Finally, Jonsie has been going to work once a week in a light commercial warehouse setting and has quickly become a favourite of all the staff. He has been quite patient and relaxed in a very busy environment. He is looking forward to a Calgary spring where he can spend a bit more time outside.
