April was a month of many firsts for me. I went on an airplane for the first time, I saw my first swimming pool, I went to a restaurant that had a menu for dogs and I went to a big gym. Easter was fun and Astro and I spread joy at the hospital. We escaped yet another snowstorm in Calgary and flew to California and I was a very good girl on the plane. We stayed at a house that had a pool. I stared at the water but did not want to get in. Jen says she has a little pool for us at home and I can try getting my feet wet in that when it’s warmer. At the special restaurant, I had some watermelon gazpacho and peanut butter & banana oatmeal. YUM! We went on lots of walks. We went to a big gym. I did not work out but rather practiced duration downs. I didn’t mind all the noise and machines. Right now, I’m sporting some fancy pants as I went into heat the day we got home. It’s really curbing my play time which is annoying.
I’m working hard on learning my positioning cues – it’s hard! I’m told my recall is coming along nicely though!
