Frosty continues to be full of vim, vigour and snuggles. She also continues to be a great learner.
A trip to IKEA showed off her focus while working with her handler, and a PADS volunteer she’d never met before took her on two visits to provide comfort to a patient and their family in the hospital. We weren’t sure how this energetic pup would do, but she was fabulous, and it turns out snuggling with someone in a hospital bed is something she really enjoys doing. So, not only was she good at the task, but she was also very responsive to a new handler, which is great.
Frosty has also been spending time at the mall with PADS Stetson as they work on skills while around very interesting distractions – including each other. They both love other dogs and people, so these outings help them build their focus.
