Fresh Faces
Meet the newest members of the PADS pack, and the supporters helping them succeed.
PADS relies on the generosity of our donors, sponsors and partners, who fund 100% of our work. We are so pleased to be able to recognize the generosity of a number of donors and the heartwarming reasons that they chose the themes and/or names that they did.
Herbs & Spices
PADS Athena’s third litter was named by the Sandpiper Foundation, based on one of the businesses that they owned and ran for years, as well as a love of gardening. The puppies are: Basil III, Cinnamon, Nutmeg II, Primrose, Rosemary III, Sesame II, Pumpkin II and Ginger IV. These puppies are six weeks old and being cared for by the Byrom family.
Little Rascals
PADS Sawyer’s second litter was named by Rascal Beverage, after a popular online naming contest. Rascal has partnered with PADS and provides 2% of sales each year. These puppies: Rascal, Mischief, Matlida, Fizz and Alfalfa were whelped by Kaylie Foster and are currently being cared for by Kailea Fedderson.
Earth Day Pups
PADS Brava’s first litter was named after Earth Day by the Jack and Darlene Poole Foundation. The family was gathered outside and inspired by the nature around them for this theme. Puppies Sage II, Oakley II and Juniper II are being looked after by Krista Beech and family.
Arnie
PADS Arnie comes to us from BC and Alberta Guide Dogs as part of the ADI International Breeding Cooperative. Adorable Arnie is a PADS Casper baby, and was named by long-time volunteer, donor, and now client, Jane O’Connor. He is named for another long-time PADS volunteer – Ken Arnold. We are grateful to Jane and Ken for their incredible support of PADS.
Diamond
PADS Diamond also comes to us from BC and Alberta Guide Dogs, and is a PADS Steller baby. Diamond was named by PADS in recognition of the generosity of the Diamond Foundation, who recently made a generous donation in support of the Puppy Raising Program. Thank you, Diamond family!
