DONNAΒ &Β KANE

I wish to share some interesting things about my four legged, furry partner, PADS Accredited Facility Dog β€œKane”. Β Kane came to the Moose Jaw Police Service-Victim Services on May 28, 2015 from PADS.

Since that time, Kane has not only assisted countless victims of crime and tragedy in our community for the Moose Jaw Police Service and the Moose Jaw RCMP, but he has provided an extra something special for our police service without any judgement or hesitation.

I have witnessed repeatedly Kane gravitating to those needing to touch and interact with the most gentle and kind dog there ever was. Kane has been available to all staff, uniformed and civilian, for the last two years. I’m not exactly sure I could measure the extent or level of comfort he brings but I know the smiles and gentle touches mean a lot to that person, and also to Kane. Without question, this is Kane’s second home.

Kane has given our community unconditional support and makes new friends every day, everywhere. Although he doesn’t utter a word or a sound he speaks very clearly if you listen.
