January has been a very busy month as I am back to work with my Raiser. My loose leash walking skills have been improving with the help of a special leash called a gentle leader that I wore for 4 weeks.
At first, I did not like having it around my nose every time we went for a walk but eventually I did get used to it and my Raisers say that they have noticed that I do not pull as much when I see a rabbit. I check in with my Raiser – most of the time. 🙂
It is very hard for me as I just want to say Hi to the rabbit!
Other skills I have been working on is some free shaping around licking. I get real yummy kibble dipped in peanut butter! This is a fun learning session. I am also working on heel, side and on perch, as you can see from the picture!
