Cashew had a big June! He learned to swim! He wasn’t too sure about going out in the water at first and would only play at the shoreline. But Cashew figured it out after his dog friend Ollie went into the lake for a dip. Now, his favourite part of our evening walks is the dips at the dog beach on our route. …one of his least favourite parts is when I make him wear his cooling vest.
Cashew continues to mature and is a pleasure to raise. He walks through the grocery store easily, and public transit is a breeze!
Cashew’s biggest moment was when we were in an off-leash area, and a bear showed up. Cashew wowed everyone with his quick reaction to hearing his name and coming to his raiser immediately. Thank goodness we have been working on that recall!!
