Vista had a wonderful month. The lake froze, and he had so much fun doing donuts. Thankfully he readily took direction and stayed very close to shore. The ice was far too thin for any serious walking. We decorated the house for the holidays, and he inspected everything that came out of the boxes. He really is an inquisitive dog. Vista continues to shine in the learning department. Having mastered fetch, he is now working on the concept of language, e.g. fetch lead, keys, shoe etc. As per the usual Vista style, the initial confusion phase has transitioned to the thinking phase. It won’t be long before he gets it, and words will really start to rack up!
