2020 AUDITED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

ABOUT PADS

PADS dogs are raised and trained on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded lands of the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), Səl̓ílwətaʔ (Tsleil-Waututh), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations.

We acknowledge the importance of these lands and their history. We do this to reaffirm our commitment and responsibility in improving relationships between nations and to improving our own understanding of local Indigenous peoples and their cultures.

We breed, raise and train fully certified assistance dogs. Our service (mobility & PTSD) and hearing dogs provide life-changing independence to those with disabilities. Our accredited facility dogs work with community professionals, such as teachers, RCMP and psychologists to help support healthy communities.

PADS is a fully accredited member of Assistance Dogs International.

We’re delighted to announce that we welcomed eight amazing dogs into Advanced Training this fall! 🎉🐾

Our training teams are excited to work with these incredible pups:

🐶 In Chilliwack, we welcomed Tay.
🐾 In Calgary, we welcomed Bagel and Timber II.
🐕 In Burnaby, we welcomed Finch, Hope II, Nova III, Piper IV, and Russell II.

Let’s cheer them on as they begin this next stage of their journey! 💪💙

This #ThankfulThursday is dedicated to the Home Depot Coquitlam #7045 for their help with our puppy yard enclosure project!

Join us in sending them some love in the comments! Drop a “thank you” below or swing by their store to show your appreciation for supporting our mission. ❤️ 🐾

Besides donating the building materials for this enclosure, team members also came out to help our incredible volunteer and builder, Ron Wiens, and volunteer Dale Chapman to get a good start on the project. When finished, this enclosure will have a translucent roof on one side to give some shade and the rest of the structure will be covered with a wire grid fencing to keep out predators like eagles, hawks and coyotes.

PADS Executive Director, Trever Broadhead, dropped in just before lunch to say hi and thank everyone for coming out and supporting PADS.
