After his adventures in training on Vancouver Island, Smore is now back in Burnaby, ready to learn and grow! When he first arrived, he was quite independent and didn’t always like to come when called. Still, now that he knows Ashley and Juniper better and has gotten into the routine, he’s showing good improvement in his handler connection and recall while on-site. Smore has also been dabbling in some skills like ‘nose bumps’ and ‘interrupters’ to see if this is something he’d like to do. He most enjoys working on duration, ‘my lap,’ and relaxing while getting that all-important food reinforcement!
