Hey PADS Village – my hooman tells me that it’s time to let you know what I was up to for the month of June. Well, I’m here to tell you that it was a lot of work!! Okay, some fun too, but a lot of work.Β
You see, my hooman tells me that we need to take advantage of the nice weather and do our training outside, in the skateboard park. Something about working on cues with lots of distractions. So while he is asking me to do a “folded down” (whatever the heck that is) or to sit for a really, really long time, I’m more interested in paying attention to the skateboarders. It’s hard to focus, but I’m getting better at it.Β
We also had a chance to go to the PADS Campus this month. And even though it was for MORE WORK, it was great to visit with some of the other PADS pups. I was pretty good about walking on all the strange surfaces, but I wasn’t too sure about the pool. Are we supposed to drink from it or ? ? ? ? ?Β
Anyway, my hooman also said that we could start going to some shows because I was behaving so well. So we went to a dance performance at The Playhouse and a Chor Leoni concert at a church downtown. Everyone was so surprised to see me there, but they were really happy too. And the shows were great.Β
I can’t wait to see what next month brings!!Β
