This month started out very different from any other month, it started with me living with my trainer, Jackie, and her family for two whole weeks! Life is different when you have different humans and a different home, but I had a great time learning lots of new skills. One skill that we focussed on is something that my humans have been working on since my gotcha day: CALM!!! Though it’s been gradually developing over the months, with the help of Jackie and some new exercises, I’ve come a long way in the past few weeks. I’ve been paying very close attention in my puppy classes which could be helping as well.

Arriving home was kinda weird.. First of all, my toys, bed and home had been fully taken over by my brother Thor, so everything had less of a Roan-cologne, and there was much sniffing and scent distribution to be completed. Secondly, one of my raisers was gone for pretty much ALL of the month, so I had less people to love. But, less people meant more time to work on my calm, so I guess that it was okay. When she came home I was SO excited, and it made all of the waiting worth it.

I’m about 80lbs now, but I’ve had my food increased to 5 cups a day! Incredible! I don’t know if it’s the puppy dog eyes finally doing the trick, but I’m not complaining! I hear that I’m getting some visitors next month, so that’s what I’m looking forward to.
