Rufous has had an action-packed month as he joined us on a 10-day camping trip in Alberta. He got to travel in our Campervan with us through Jasper, Lake Louise, and Banff. He experienced many firsts, all of which he handled so well. He came along on two different boat cruises, one in Jasper and one in Banff. He was so good and everybody loved him. By the time he got off at the end, everybody knew his name.
He got his first winter experience as he came along on the Ice Explorer that took us up onto the Athabasca glacier. He was so excited to see ice and snow for the first time, he had so much fun. Although, he may have eaten half the glacier. Our driver said he had never seen another dog up on the glacier so he felt pretty special.
He had his first taste of heights as he came along up the Banff Gondola. Didn’t seem to phase him as he was so well-behaved through the whole experience. And then he got to go for a nice long walk along the mountain tops.
After so much excitement, he was excited to get back home again where he could relax and get back into his normal training schedule.
