Merry almost Christmas, this is Brinks.
November was a rather routine month. Lots of sniffy walks, with ongoing training.
We had a little of the white stuff that is cold on my paws, but it was really fun to play in. I would shove my nose under it to find different smells, come up with snow on my nose and make mom laugh. Unfortunately, mom didnβt get any pictures, the ones she took didnβt show the frost on my whiskers.
I am getting much better at ignoring other dogs when we are out and about. Mom takes me off the path and feeds me lots of treats while the other dog goes by. One time mom was so impressed with me: I was sniffing about when a dog in his yard started barking at me. I looked at the dog for a moment, then turned back to mom and sat waiting for my treats. I got a lot that time. Since then, when we meet another dog, I look at mom and I get lots of treats.
Mom tells me our next goal is to stop my drooling. It seems when I anticipate that I am getting food, I drool. Not excessively, but enough that I should wipe my mouth.
Not much else happening here, so I will end, with wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. Brinks out.
