Human and I had a slower start to the year – we did brave the snow a couple of times for some fun, but we also made sure we had plenty of time in front of the fireplace after. We did many other indoor things to stay warm, like going to the mall to see my other PADS friends – from a distance! I was so happy that we did get some time to run around together outside in the trails after our time in the mall – everyone needs a break after work, even us!
My human and I also practiced lots of loose-leash walking, as I found the more I pulled to go forward, the more we seemed to slow…very confusing; I’m still figuring this one out, but I think I’m starting to find it nicer to walk with my human right next to me even if she’s sooo slow with only two legs! She seems to really enjoy walking with me, though, so I’ll try to keep her close by. She does have the kibble pouch, after all…
