Shadow has been loving having Pear as a houseguest, but she sure was surprised when, all of a sudden, there was a litter of puppies that appeared out of nowhere! Miss Snoopy-snooperson learned pretty quickly to give momma and babes space and that she could look but not touch! The presence of the puppies meant that Shadow couldn’t be out and about with other dogs, BUT we could do LOTS of outings to grocery stores, the mall, IKEA, etc.
After a couple of weeks of playing Auntie Shadow, she moved back over to Suzanne’s and got back to working in the office. She sometimes shows a little bit of stress at times but we are exploring lots of ways to keep the office a positive place, and it seems to be working well.
Shadow loves hitting the trails and can often be found trekking through Minnekhada or up Burnaby Mountain.
