Tetley continued making progress on her dog distraction this month. She’s learning that engaging with her handler yields much better rewards than anything else. That’s not always easy to remember though! She’s also been fine tuning her obedience cues, especially in practical situations when multiple repetitions often aren’t possible.

Tetley also had the opportunity to meet and spend time with some small humans this month, a 6-year-old and a newborn. She was very curious about them but did a good job keeping her curiosity in check. She also took field trips to a very delicious-smelling Japanese restaurant, several different grocery stores, coffee shops, and a big craft store, where she did an excellent job of being patient and calm despite many new and interesting things at her eye level.
