March was an exciting and important month for Tetley because she turned 2 years old on March 25! She got to pick a toy for herself and enjoyed a few treats to celebrate. There was also a special Easter photo backdrop at the pet store where she got to show off her posing skills. She had a routine eye exam at PADS at the beginning of the month and went on field trips with her advanced sitter to a dentist’s and doctor’s offices. She got lots of compliments on her excellent behaviour at both. Many medical missions in March!

She is continuing to work on keeping her composure around other dogs and has come a long way, even though she still finds it challenging. She also worked on paying close attention to what cue she’s being asked for in higher distraction situations instead of trying to anticipate what she’s supposed to do next.

Field trips: Grocery store, dentist’s office, doctor’s office, hardware store, coffee shops, pharmacy, art supply store.

Advanced training location: West Coast
