Meet Hope II

What’s wonderful about Hope II

Hope II is a high-energy, happiness-fueled pup who brings joy and excitement wherever she goes. She’s got a spark that lights up every room—and she’s looking for a home that can keep up!

What Makes Hope II Shine:

  • Loving, cuddly, and full of charm—she’s a sweetheart who adores her people.

  • Smart and eager to learn—she tackles each training session with excitement and determination.

  • Always up for an adventure—the outdoors is her happy place, especially if there are squirrels to chase and leaves to watch!

WHERE HOPE NEEDS SUPPORT

  • Focus: Limited in busy environments – She struggles to concentrate when things get exciting and often needs help to stay on task.

  • Movement & Prey Drive: Very high – Birds, squirrels, leaves—if it moves, Hope notices (and wants to chase).

  • Dog Distraction: Moderate – She’s curious and sometimes overly interested in other dogs, but with handler support, she can regain focus.

HOPE II’s IDEAL MATCH

Hope II is best suited for an experienced, active adopter who can channel her high energy and help her grow through continued training and structure. She’ll thrive in a home where mental and physical stimulation are part of daily life—and where her
enthusiasm is met with patience and understanding.

Home Requirements

Someone must be home the majority of the day. As with all PADS dogs that have spent their lives in the full-time company of their raisers, the living situation must accommodate not leaving Gamora alone at home for more than 4 hours/day.

A stable home environment is required. This includes regular exercise, grooming, veterinarian care, food, as well as other necessary supplies and equipment.

Released PADS dogs do not have public access, meaning they are not allowed to enter malls, restaurants, hotels, or shops that are not pet friendly. They are only permitted to go to public locations that are pet dog friendly. Before releasing a dog from our program, PADS evaluates each dog for other working careers. Gamora is not eligible for any other working career. Therefore, one of the conditions of adoption is that she may not be used by other agencies for other working roles (some exceptions may apply depending on the reasons of release, such as volunteering as a pet visitation dog).
