Meeting the Members of the BC Notary Association
We had the great pleasure of meeting with the members of the Society of Notaries Public of British Columbia at their Annual Spring Conference.Β This Society is celebrating 90 years and invited PADS Executive Director Laura Watamanuk, and Service Dog Navy (who is currently visiting the PADS campus) to present to them on a variety of topics. In particular, how to work sensitively within diversity – understanding how to engage with clients with disabilities in respectful ways. We also covered basic assistance dog etiquette and the recent changes to the BC Guide an Service Dog Act.
We’re grateful for the invitation as well as the support of BC Guide Dog Services and several of our PADS clients in preparing the content of this presentation.
