Lauren Hamilton
Lauren Hamilton is the 2020 Volunteer of the Year for PADS Calgary!Β She brings a wealth of dog training experience to the table, having raised Show Goldens, Labradors, Malinois, Cockers and multiple service dogs. She especially loves the spicy ones!
She is always ready to take on remedial training for one of our pups that needs to refocus on engagement or obedience. She is also an excellent puppy starter and can put great foundation skills on the young pups, then turn them over to new volunteers to give them an easier start to their puppy raising adventures. This is in addition to working on her master’s degree! Volunteers like Lauren make it easier for us to get past the hurdles of challenging dogs in our program, and we couldnβt do that without her help! Congratulations, Lauren!Β
