We are seeking someone to fill the role of Apprentice Puppy Instructor, helping us fulfill our mission of providing assistance dogs to our waiting clients.

ABOUT PADS

PADS dogs are raised and trained on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded lands of the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), Səl̓ílwətaʔ (Tsleil-Waututh), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations.

We acknowledge the importance of these lands and their history. We do this to reaffirm our commitment and responsibility in improving relationships between nations and to improving our own understanding of local Indigenous peoples and their cultures.

We breed, raise and train fully certified assistance dogs. Our service (mobility & PTSD) and hearing dogs provide life-changing independence to those with disabilities. Our accredited facility dogs work with community professionals, such as teachers, RCMP and psychologists to help support healthy communities.

PADS is a fully accredited member of Assistance Dogs International.

The first Sunday in June marks Canadian Armed Forces Day, a day to celebrate the contributions of Canadian military personnel, past and present. PADS Towhee and PADS Pip, along with all the PADS humans, would like to extend our gratitude to all who have served with the goal of building a better world. We're proud to serve those who have served us, and to be able to provide life-changing service dogs for veterans so that they can feel safe in a world that they've helped to protect. Winning medals and winning hearts ✨ Team Ky were bound to hit it off from the start. PADS Ky, named for @kyliemasse, and Marni, head coach of the Canadian senior women's wheelchair basketball team, were matched last year, and quickly changed each others lives.
