A Community Event in Support of PADS and the qathet Pickleball Association

The Beer and Burgerย social at the Legion has been postponed to October 18th, 2025.ย  The daytime pickleball event is still happening on Saturday, July 19, and weโ€™re excited to see you on the courts.ย  Registration for the dinking tournament remains openโ€”we hope youโ€™ll join us!

ABOUT THE EVENT

Our two organizations are excited to offer this event to support the training of life-changing assistance dogs through PADS and foster our regionโ€™s growing passion for pickleball.

Imagine a full-day celebration of pickleball, pups, and local pride in support of Pacific Assistance Dogs Society (PADS) and the qathet Pickleball Associationย (qPA). Mark your calendar for Saturday, July 19th, 2025, fromย 10:00 am to 3:00 pm to join us for a day filled with family-friendly activities and a โ€œPickleball for Allโ€ dinking-only event.ย 
The Highlights:
  • Start the day at the Powell River Recreation Centre Arena with family-friendly activities including open house pickleball play for all ages and all levels, local tasting experiences, and vendor boothsโ€”just to name a few.
  • Participate in a โ€œPickleball for Allโ€ mixed-level dinking event.

The evening Beer and Burger Social at the Powell River Legion has been postponed until October 18th.
