A Community Event in Support of PADS and the qathet Pickleball Association
ABOUT THE EVENT
Our two organizations are excited to offer this event to support the training of life-changing assistance dogs through PADS and foster our region’s growing passion for pickleball.
Imagine a full-day celebration of pickleball, pups and local pride in support of Pacific Assistance Dogs Society (PADS) and the qathet Pickleball Association (qPA). Mark your calendar for Saturday July 19th, 2025, from 10:00am – 6:00pm to join us for a day filled with family-friendly activities, a “Pickleball for All” dinking-only event, and an engaging evening social.
The Highlights:
- Start the day at the Powell River Recreation Centre Arena with family-friendly activities including open house pickleball play for all ages and all levels, local tasting experiences, and vendor booths—just to name a few.
- Participate in a “Pickleball for All” mixed-level dinking event.
- Finish the day at the Powell River Royal Canadian Legion with a beer and burger social.
