We would like to thank the North Burnaby Royal Canadian Legion (Branch #148) for their generous donation of $7,500 from their Poppy Fund in support of PADS Program.
A wonderful group of PADS volunteers and their puppies in training, along with our Director of Communications &Β Development Tara Doherty, visited the Burnaby Legion on Sunday, September 22, 2024 to receive the cheque and present the branch with a thank you plaque.
Funds will be put towards the PADS PTSD program that supports First Responders and Veterans, by training dogs to facilitate wellness and social re-integration.
