Did you know that BC Distilled started in 2013 as a way to bring together the provinceβs distilleries in one place for spirits fans to sample their products? Alex tells us that in 2016 he decided to improve the charity fundraising component of the show and decided to reach out to PADS.
“I knew of PADS through friends who had raised a puppy (rest in peace lovely Piper), and felt it would be a great organization to support. But really I think I was looking for an excuse to get some puppy time in while the show was on. Literally everyone involved in BC Distilled, from the distillers to the volunteers to the attendees agree this is one of the best parts of the event.”
