Murray and Tony

Join us January 25th as we catch up with Murray and Tony!

Tony works at the Customized Learning Centre, a small high school alternate program in Coquitlam School District.  Tony spends his day with Murray (handler) or Dannielle, Youth Worker (trained co-handler), interacting with students in small groups or individually.  He greets students outside the building, in the hallway or in the Youth Worker area as they arrive for the day, join small groups in our daily discussion group time (called “Connections”), hangs out with the students at lunchtime, and sits in one-to-one meetings involving staff and students/parents.  Tony also has been part of reading buddy program with Kindergarten students at a neighbouring elementary school.
