Bee was being raised and trained to provide life-changing independence to someone with a physical disability other than visual impairment or to work with a professional such as a teacher, psychologist or victim services worker to help support a healthy community.
In October, 2025, the decision was made to send Bee to Operation Freedom Paws Canada (OFPC) to work through their service dog program. Operation Freedom Paws have an ‘owner trained’ service dog program and are currently working towards their ADI accreditation. Their program sees dogs-in-training live full-time with their clients while undergoing a 48-week program. OFPC is located in Fanny Bay on Vancouver Island.
It truly takes a village to raise a puppy and you can be part of the PADS village — donations raised through this page support the care and training of healthy, happy puppies. Help support PADS today.
