October has been a fun month forΒ Acorn! He has enjoyed lots of hiking time and even got to visit with some old friends, as well as meeting lots of new ones. Acorn is a very goofy boy, and he loves bouncing around with a toy in his mouth during playtime. Acorn’s confidence level has improved quite a bit this month. His obedience and manners are very solid, and he’s a lovely boy to have around on field trips. While teaching Acorn the beginnings of the My Lap cue, he has needed some convincing to put his feet on his handler. He’s such a good, honest boy that he thought this might be breaking a “rule.” Now that Acorn understands that lap snuggles are allowed and encouraged, he is very happy to oblige.Β
