Hi, I’m Allen.
I came to live with my new moms about a month ago, and I’m settling in very nicely. I have a cushy donut bed, two kennels, an X-pen where I can chill and sleep, and lots of toys, some of which I haven’t yet destroyed! I have a big backyard and a park nearby with a large off-leash dog area, but I’m not quite ready to go in there yet. I’m learning lots of new skills like walking on a loose leash and learning to pay attention to my moms, and not to other dogs, squirrels, ducks, crows, etc. I’ve been to four different malls, the grocery store, food fairs, and play areas where there are lots of little humans running around making little human noises. I went to one really big store along with lots of my PADS doggy friends, where we practiced going up and down stairs, up and down in the elevator, and going under tables and chairs. I like going to my training classes where I can be around some of my pup peeps. I’ve been on some long walks and got to see and smell lots of new stuff, and I even got to dip my paws in a river!
