AlmaΒ stepped into University life with enthusiasm on her first day. The new environment, her classmates, and the overall experience were a lot of fun. Her interactions with her litter mates, Camilo and Pepa, have been particularly fun, adding play to her training days. Alma has proven to be a loving and fun companion, endearing herself to everyone around. We have begun laying the foundations for her training, focusing on aspects such as body movement and loose-leash walking. On her own initiative, she has started bringing different items to her handler. We are encouraging and building on this natural behavior as we decide which job she may like to do in the future.
Additionally, she practiced her obedience at the mall, showcasing her adaptability to different environments. These first two weeks have primarily focused on assessment and helping her settle in as we gradually introduce new skills.
