Angel has had a big month of growing and learning. She has officially gone up a third collar size and recently weighed in at 32 pounds of solid puppy.
Training has been going really well, and she has now mastered the perch, happily offering it just about everywhere we go. Her durations at home are improving nicely, especially when she’s asked to wait patiently for treats.
Angel also loves attending my son’s basketball games and does wonderfully settling in a busy gym full of kids running, cheering, and bouncing basketballs. Considering how much she seems to adore children, it’s been great to see her relax so well in that energetic environment.
We also had a fun playdate with her sister Spring, where the two enjoyed some off-leash time in the riding arena and were clearly very happy to be reunited.
At home, Angel continues working on her friendships with our cats. She often brings them toys in an effort to play, which they politely decline. However, she and our cat, Florence, have developed a sweet routine and enjoy cuddling together at nap time. She’s also enjoying the company of the horses from a distance.
We’re very proud of the progress she’s making and are looking forward to another month of learning and adventures together.
