I spent September as bonus time with my raisers while the Advance Trainers finished up with other dogs. It worked out for the best, as I matured some more, and I had another growth spurt! I got taller, longer, & stronger. I now weigh 70lbs!!!

I love learning so much that I invented my own cue. We call it “Hug!” My raiser tends to sit on the floor cross-legged to think and ground herself when stressed. I came over and put my front paws on her legs and leaned over her shoulder, and she instinctively hugged me back. After offering this behaviour a few times, my raisers took the hint, they call it, “Hug!”

I went in for my last day at UBC’s Museum of Anthropology, where I thanked everyone for hosting and helping me during my training. Thanks, guys! Then we had a photo shoot with their pro photographer.

I spent some time chilling, tightening up my skills, and lots of play & cuddles on Vancouver Island and at home.

Miss Chelsea says that I’m “a lot of dog” … So ready or not, here I come, Canine College! Haha
We’re all so happy – I made it!!!

Transitions are tricky for me, and PADS dogs are highly distracting… so my raisers have told me to go give it my best! And if it’s not for me, I can come home.

Turn in is Oct 3.
