Belle started off the month with a trip to the Christmas Tree Farm. There were so many new smells there and new dogs to see that it was a very exciting adventure. Belle also attended an elementary school winter performance and a piano recital. She has had many visits to the mall and local stores. She had her first visit to Buckerfield’s, which was exciting because all the dog treats were the first thing she encountered upon walking through the doors. She has gone out for lunch and for coffee.
Home routines have changed with school being out. There have been many family evenings where she had to remain quiet at my feet – no matter how close the cat came.
Christmas Day brought many people and much excitement, but with a new chew toy, Belle managed quite well.
Belle is welcoming in the New Year at a sitter’s home.
